If you are a student or an intern in Marriage and Family Therapy or Mental Health Counseling who is seeking to be licensed in the State of Florida, I can help. I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and a Florida Qualified Supervisor. I love working with students who are curious and eager to learn, and I provide supervision for a reasonable fee.
My Supervision Briefly
My theoretical orientation is influenced by systemic and post-structural ideas, particularly narrative therapy. In supervision, we will share our perspectives, feelings and challenges, explore new alternatives and stories, generate new ideas that might be tried in subsequent conversations with clients, become aware of our intentions and biases, self-reflect, and practice skills if needed. My goal as a supervisor is to help you become the best possible marriage and family therapist that you can be. I am flexible to adjust my approach to students’ developmental level, needs and goals. I collaborate with students and ask many questions to create a context for reflection, discovery, learning, and personal agency.
